Guenter Råler is the alias of Irene Cassarini.
They are an Italian music producer, DJ and meultimedia artist now based in The Netherlands.
They debuted at Lente Kabinet, ADE, HÖR radio, Le Guess Who? and Garage Noord, playing with the likes of Giant Swan, Clara!, Himera, Torus, Danny L. Harle, Kedr Livanskiy, Object Blue and more.
Their music was released on Dekmantel (alongside Interstellar Funk), Traumgarten, 76666 and Antistandard Recs.
‘As Light Through Water’ is their latest EP, featured on Bandcamp’s homepage in the “New and Notable” music and with a track premiered on Couvre x Chefs.
Active in the dutch nightlife, they are the founder and artistic director of Club Hits Different and Queer In Wonderland, a queer transfeminist collective. They are also one of the concept creators and first resident DJ of FLUID, a queer club night in WAS., Utrecht (NL).
They are currently a resident artist at Roodkapje Hamburger Community in Rotterdam, and they recently presented the multimedia installation //:LOCAL gHOST at Artcity Bologna following their residency at Parsec.
